 Transportation
There are many seniors in
our community who have difficulty finding transportation to doctors'
appointments, treatments, etc. The transportation service provides
a ride to and from appointments in Steinbach and Winnipeg. 
Who is eligible?
Seniors (55+) who are able to walk and live in Steinbach, Landmark or the R.M. of Hanover.
How do I arrange a ride?
Phone at least one day in advance to ensure transportation. The sooner you phone, the easier it is for us to arrange a ride.
What is the cost?
The senior is required to pay a reasonable fee, which covers gas and parking. Payment is made directly to the driver.

Volunteer Drivers
Of course, without drivers we would not be able to have this service. Perhaps you would like to be a part of the transportation service?
Qualifications
- Valid drivers' license
- Good driving record
- Vehicle registration
- Friendly manner
Responsibilities
- Pick up the client at home at the specified time
- Safely drive client to their destination
- Assist the client in getting in and out of the vehicle
- Either wait for the client or return to pick them up at a pre-arranged time and take them home.
